App for children:

Lumi Nova: Tales of Courage - In partnership with the NHS, this fun digital therapy is designed to enable children to self-manage their worries. Recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence), this free app is for 7-12 year olds facing difficulties with anxiety. It is a CBT-based, intergalactic adventure game where players step into the shoes of a newly recruited Luminaut and start an exciting adventure through space - travelling to different planets, meeting new characters, solving puzzles and attempting challenges to overcome fears and build confidence. 

Smiling Mind - an app which helps with Mindfulness and Meditation

Children and adults would benefit from Smiling Mind, Headspace, Calm and Mindshift.

Get face-to-face, online or telephone counselling from TIC+ (free). Referrals for 1:1 counselling can happen through school - speak to Mrs Deb Carter. TIC+ knows that no matter what you might be going through, it helps to talk about it. Their counsellors are trained to listen without judging, and help you get things back on track and can support you face to face, online or over the phone. Join a TIC+ online workshop and learn new ways to manage difficult thoughts and feelings with InTER-ACT (free). If you are struggling with difficult thoughts and feelings, inTER-ACT is for individuals aged 9-25 across Gloucestershire whether you're having counselling or while you're on the waiting list. Get support from Young Gloucestershire (YG) (free) YG offers counselling programmes and practical support for a range of issues. Whether you're struggling with your mental health, self-harm, leaving care or you need practical help, YG can support you. You can call YG on 01452 501 008 Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. 

Gloucestershire Young Carers - Gloucestershire Young Carers helps young people whose caring role is affecting their mental wellbeing. For ages 8 to 24. You can refer yourself if you're over 18. If you're under 18, you'll need permission from a parent or carer. 

School Nurse - Chathealth Get advice and support from a school nurse relating to a wide range of health and wellbeing issues. Available Monday to Friday, 9am - 4:30pm, excluding bank holidays. Text service 07507 333351

Eating Disorders - Evidence-based treatment for eating disorders, provided by a senior clinician in weekly sessions for you and your parents, carers or other family. You can refer yourself or you can ask your GP or other health professional to refer you/ your child. To make a referral, there is a form online. Telephone 01242 634242
