Whilst the teaching of basic skills in English and maths are very important at our school, Avening Primary School is proud of offering our children many other opportunities which support their development into rounded, confident and tolerant individuals.

From the wide range of extra curricular opportunities on offer and the fabulous productions we put on each year, to the termly visits, theatre trips and regular visitors, as well as our community links and engagement with local secondary schools and the play group, our provision ensures that the experiences we offer are broad and expand the horizons of our children.
