Classes
We have four classes at our school, all of which are named after birds. You can find out more about the classes by clicking on the 'Our Classes' tab on the main menu.
Eagles
The Eagles are just beginning their school life - with children in Early Years and Year 1. They are taught by Miss Cook, class teacher, and Miss Gobey, teaching assistant, who follow the children's interests and facilitate learning experiences. The Eagles love spending time in our School Garden - building dens, playing imaginatively and looking after nature.
Mrs Marshall supports children in this class too.
To see more about the Eagles class, take a look at the Eagles class page.
Kestrels
The Kestrels class is our class of Year 1 and Year 2 children. They are taught by Mr Wilkinson, with the support of teaching assistants Miss Maizie and Mrs Hall. This class is busy, organised and filled with enthusiastic learners!
Mrs Fuller and Mrs Newell support children in this class too.
To discover more about the Kestrels learning, please visit the Kestrels class page and blog page which is updated regularly with information and photographs of the children at work.
Hawks
The Hawks class is for our Year 3 and Year 4 children. They are taught by Mr Hall, ably supported by Miss Aldhouse. Please see the Hawks class page for information about their learning and to find out more about life in this exciting class!
Owls
The Owls class are our Year 5 and Year 6 children taught by Miss Yarham, along with teaching assistant Mrs Wilson and SEN teaching assistant Mrs Jones. The Owls class are good role models for the younger children and have the opportunity to have many important leadership roles in school.
